My interest in photography goes back to my childhood. I have always been a visually oriented person and I used to wonder how those images that I used to see in books and magazines were captured, and who the people behind the lenses were.
For many, the objects that we see in our everyday lives have become ordinary and mundane. We no longer notice the form and beauty of these things in our lives. My work at this time is focused upon looking at these commonplace objects in our world from a different perspective. My goal is for the viewer to see these objects again, yet for the first time, too. My hope is that this will instill the beauty found all around, everyday, back into our lives.
